BIOGRAPHY:
I have been a painter since an early age. I am a self taught silhouette artist whose style leans toward contemporary and abstract. I work with acrylics on canvas and wood. One collector described my silhouette work as, "taking a simple silhouette and giving it life in an array of colors". I love creating Ambrosia Mosaic Artworks, these original paintings are bright and vibrant and have a mosaic/stained glass effect. They have such a peaceful, happy feel to them.
I created art that appeals to my senses, that moves emotion in me, sometimes I am captivated by an abstract tree or a deep richly colored garden. When i paint the silhouette couples, I fall into them, the simplicity of a shadowed figure lost in a sea of color, the emotions are strong and usually represent the love I have in my life .

I live and work from my home studio in Faust Alberta Canada, with my husband and best friend Jeff (my biggest fan and supporter), our horses and dogs. It is such a lovely place, surrounded by trees that must be 60 feet high! The summers are a little short, but I find daily inspirations in my surroundings.
