BIOGRAPHY:
Scott Wilke is a cartoonist/illustrator born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin. His genre borderlines Contemporary to Impressionism with his technique and embodiment in each of his illustrations. He is one of few artists who use color pencils as their main medium.
Scott was greatly influenced by his mother Susan Danforth, who was not known but was extremely gifted. She taught him immensely and will be remembered as his greatest teacher and critic. He was also inspired by other American Artists such as: Norman Rockwell, Walt Disney, Tom Richmond, Charles Schultz and eventually Thomas Kincaid. He grew up attempting to redraw his favorite artists scenes, characters and themes, meanwhile developing a style of his own.
